1. Peak PLUS Cash Back Qualification Information: If you meet the minimum qualification requirements during the monthly qualification cycle,  you will receive 5.00% cash back on up to $200 in debit card purchases that post and settle to the account. A maximum of  $10 cash back may be earned per monthly qualification cycle. If you have a Peak Plus High-Yield Savings Account, cash back earned on your Peak PLUS Cash Back Checking Account will be deposited into your Peak PLUS High-Yield Savings Accounts. If you do not have a Peak PLUS High-Yield Savings Account, cash back earned will remain in your Peak PLUS Cash Back Checking Account. 
You may qualify for monthly rewards if you meet the applicable minimum qualification requirements for the monthly qualification cycle. To meet the minimum qualification requirements, you must: 1) make 15 debit card purchases that post and settle to your account; 2) have one ACH credit or direct deposit settle to your account; 3) be enrolled to receive e-statements. The monthly qualification cycle is defined as the period beginning one calendar day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one calendar day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. 
2. Peak PLUS High-Yield Checking Account Qualification Information: APY=Annual Percentage Yield. Rates effective as of 08/30/2024. Rates, rewards, and bonuses, if any, are variable and may change after account is opened. The Peak PLUS High-Yield Checking Account is a tiered rate account. If you meet the minimum qualification requirements during the monthly qualification cycle, the APY of 5.25% will apply on your balance of $15,000.00 and below; the annual percentage yield of 0.50% will apply on any balance of $15,000.01 or greater. If minimum qualifications requirements are not met, the entire balance will earn 0.05% APY. Dividends will be credited to your Peak PLUS High-Yield checking account on the last day of the current statement cycle. If you have a Peak PLUS High-Yield Savings Account, dividends earned on the Peak PLUS High-Yield Checking Account will automatically be transferred to your Peak PLUS High-Yield Savings Account; in that event dividends will not compound in the Peak PLUS High-Yield Checking account and will compound in your account as listed on the Rate Schedule. Earned rewards will be transferred to this account one day after end of cycle processing.

The Peak PLUS High Yield Savings account is a tiered rate account and is available only to holders of a Peak PLUS High Yield Checking or Peak PLUS Cash Back Checking account. If you meet the minimum qualification requirements for your Peak PLUS High Yield Checking or Peak PLUS Cash Back Checking account during the monthly qualification cycle, the 3.00% APY will apply on any balance of $200,000.00 and below. The .50% APY will apply on any balance $200,000.01 or greater. Each dividend rate will apply only to that portion of the account balance within each balance range. If you do not meet all of the minimum qualification requirements during the monthly qualification cycle for the Peak PLUS High Yield Checking or Peak PLUS Cash Back account, the .05% APY will apply to the entire balance in your Peak PLUS High-Yield Savings account.

4. eStatements: By selecting eStatements, you choose to receive your statements and notices electronically, you will no longer receive paper copies via traditional mail. For important tax reporting reasons, you should always print and retain your December 31 year-end statement and tax documents.

5. New member bonus: Each new Peak PLUS Checking Account will automatically meet the qualification standards the first month of opening after you complete one debit card transaction, enabling rewards to be earned and collected per account type listed above. In all subsequent months, qualification activities will be required to enable rewards. 

6. ATM Refund Qualification Information: We will refund up to $6.00 per transaction and up to $25.00 per month in ATM fees assessed at worldwide ATMs we do not own or operate. ATM refunds will be paid on the last calendar day of the month. If you have a Peak PLUS High Yield Savings account, ATM fees refunded to you will be deposited directly into your Peak PLUS High Yield Savings account. If you do not have a Peak PLUS High Yield Savings account, fees refunded will remain in your Peak PLUS Checking account. If you do not meet all of the minimum qualification requirements during the monthly qualification cycle, ATM fees will not be refunded to you.

7. ChangeUp: Upon enrollment, we will round up your Mastercard® debit card purchases to the nearest dollar and transfer the difference from your checking account to your savings account or a charity of your choice. We may cancel or modify ChangeUp at any time without prior notice. 

8. Mobile Check Deposit: Funds availability restrictions may apply. Visit our Funds Availability Policy for complete details.  
9. Zelle®: Zelle® and the Zelle® related marks are wholly owned by Early Warning Services, LLC and are used herein under license. 

10. Two Days Early: Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the submission of the payment file from the payer. We generally make these funds available on the day payment file is received, which may be up to two days earlier than scheduled payment date. 

11. Overdraft Protection: The Overdraft Protection program is not a loan and is a qualifying service. Before using Overdraft Protection, we will first attempt to clear the item by using any free transfer protection plan you may have in place. Members must opt in to authorize Sandia Area to pay overdrafts on ATM and one-time debit card transactions. You can revoke your election at any time by calling the credit union at (505) 292-6343, visiting any of our branch offices, or online at Sandia.org/Overdrafts. Restrictions apply. Overdrafts are subject to fees. See Fee Schedule for additional information.

Additional Information: Limit of one (1) Peak PLUS Cash Back or one (1) Peak PLUS High-Yield checking account and one (1) Peak Plus High-Yield Savings account per membership. There are no recurring monthly maintenance charges or fees to open or close this account. No minimum balance is required to earn or receive the account's rewards. Business Accounts are not eligible for Peak PLUS Checking Accounts. If the account is closed, you will forfeit any rewards that have not been credited to your account.
