Sandia Area is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information across all communication channels. When you apply for one of our products or services, we may request your mobile phone number. This number is used solely to provide you with important account-related information and support.
SMS Text Messaging
When you opt into SMS, you may receive text messages related to your account, such as transaction notifications, security codes, surveys or other important updates. These messages may be sent from designated short code numbers, with frequency based on your preferences or account activity. Mobile information will not be shared with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Online Chat Services
Our online chat feature allows real-time conversations with our dedicated chat-bot and/or member service team for assistance with your account or general questions. These chat sessions may be recorded for quality assurance, staff training, and service improvement. A third-party provider may manage the platform and access transcripts only to operate the service.
- You will be asked to give explicit consent at the start of each chat session.
- If you do not consent, the session will end.

Children’s Privacy Policy
The only financial service Sandia Area offers online to children under the age of 13 is financial education intended to support the child's financial literacy. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from children, and we do not knowingly market to children online. We recognize that protecting children's identities and online privacy is important and that responsibility rests with the parents.
